Why kayaking is a family trip and bonding experience?

Family trips together are known to increase family bonding and even more so between parents and children.  But to add to this we set the kayak up as one child in front and parent in the back, both with a paddle.  This means you will need to communicate and work together to move and go in the direction of the tour.

If your children are too young to control the paddle, we have a different kayak where they sit just in front of the parent.  Once again, this allows good communication and the child ‘to use’ the kayak with the parents’ assistance.

An educational experience like no other

Kayaking through the mangroves as part of a family outing is the perfect way for children and parents as well to learn about the fragile ecosystem.  Children will learn about the different animals as well as be instructed on how to find them on the tour.

Make a weekend of it and extend the learning

During the weekend you will have the time to also visit Sepang’s other family activity, My Backyard Garden.  This is a project of passion to educate and conserve butterflies.  It is free to visit but they would like a contribution by buying food in the cafe or releasing a butterfly.  You can find more information in our blog post here.
